Morning Pick up
Through this trail we will explore the central part of Crete and we will learn several things regarding the local oil olive and receive more information on Crete and the local way of life.
1st stop: Aposelemis Dam
We will drive through a beautiful route with lush olive groves and we will first reach the Aposelemi Dam where we can see the sunken village of Sfentyli.
2nd stop: Olive Oil Mill - Avdou
Then, we'll arrive at a local olive oil mill where we'll get all the information about the production of Cretan olive oil and at the same time, we'll have the opportunity to try different types of olive oil and its products. We'll climb to higher altitudes and pass-through traditional villages, where you'll get a close-up look at the locals' way of life.
3rd stop: Krasi Village
Our next stop, is in the village of Krasi, famous for its enormous 2,400-year-old plane tree and traditional stone fountains with natural water flowing year-round.
4th stop: Mochos
The day's final stop brings us to this charming mountain village. Stroll its scenic streets, snap photos of the historic square, and soak in the authentic Cretan atmosphere.
