Tour Overview
This family-friendly tour introduces you to the natural and cultural beauty of eastern Crete. Starting with the historic Milatos Cave and a scenic off-road trail, you’ll enjoy panoramic views and spot local livestock along the way. Children will love visiting the Amazonas Zoo Park and interacting with animals up close. We'll stop in a traditional village for raki and meze before heading to Elounda and Agios Nikolaos to admire the Mirabello Bay, swim in crystal waters, and explore the picturesque town and its lake.
Morning Pick up
Starting from our hotel, we will explore the eastern side of Crete with an excellent guided tour. Visit the cave of Milatos to follow the paths of Cretan history. Give your children the joy of visiting AMAZONAS ZOO PARK and reach the most beautiful corner of eastern Crete.
1st stop: Milatos Cave
Discover traditional life in rural Crete by watching the locals in their daily activities by visiting traditional villages. Enjoy a tour of the cave of Milatos where you will have the opportunity to learn a lot about the history of the area and. Cross an amazing off-road trail where you will have the opportunity to see the livestock of Crete up close and photograph several of the goats and sheep of the area . Be enchanted by the panoramic view where you will see almost the entire northern side of Crete from an altitude of 900 meters.
2nd stop: Amazonas Zoo Park
Try your hand at foraging for native herbs or relax and enjoy the panoramic view. Give the joy to your children by visiting the Amazonas Zoo Park where you will have the opportunity to see many of the animals up close and have fun with them.
3rd stop: Traditional village
Enjoy traditional raki and local delicacies in a traditional village where you will have the opportunity to admire its architecture of Crete and see the way of life of the Cretans.
4th stop: Elounda & Agios Nikolaos
Be enchanted by the beautiful view of the bay of Mirabello where you will see the famous island of SPINALONGA from above swim in the crystal clear waters of Elounda enjoy authentic food in one of the most famous taverns in and finally feel the beauty of the capital of Eastern Crete of the city of Agios Nikolaos end Admire the town square as well as the beautiful lake.
