Tour Overview
Discover the authentic heart of Crete on this full-day adventure. Meet local animals and learn traditional cheese-making at a shepherd's house, taste exquisite olive oils, and stroll through charming villages. Marvel at the stunning Skotino Cave and finish the day with a refreshing swim at a beautiful sandy beach, creating memories that will last a lifetime.
Morning Pick up
Starting from our hotel, we'll enjoy a beautiful route overlooking the entire northern Cretan Sea and end up at the shepherd's house where we'll see many of the Cretan animals and participate in milking, but we'll also learn how Cretan cheese is produced. They'll treat us to olives, tomatoes, cucumbers, Cretan rusks, and local raki.
1st stop: Olive Oil Mill
Then, we'll arrive at a local olive oil mill where we'll get all the information about the production of Cretan olive oil and at the same time we'll have the opportunity to try different types of olive oil and its products. We'll climb to higher altitudes and pass through traditional villages, where you'll get a close-up look at the locals' way of life.
2nd stop: Skotino Cave
Driving through olive groves, we'll end up at the Skotino Cave, where we'll admire the hall and its beauty.
3rd stop: Swimming Time
After the beautiful stop at the cave, we head to a sandy beach where we'll have 40 minutes to enjoy a swim in the crystal-clear waters.
End of the tour / Return to resorts
We'll head back to the hotel, brimming with memories of Crete that will stay with you for a lifetime.
