Discover and get to know the mythology, the history, the traditions, the herbs, the professions of the past, the animals and feel the beauty of Cretan nature. Through this route we will discover the unknown Crete, heading towards its southwest.

Our first stop is the traditional village of Zaros where we will visit the Lake which is located at the foothills of Psiloritis (the highest mountain in Crete). You will be amazed by the beauty of the landscape and you will see images that will accompany you for a lifetime.

Our next stop is the monastery of Vrontisi, one of the oldest monasteries of Crete dating back around to 1300. Through a wonderful route having Psiloritis rising on our right, we reach the CRETAN ZEUS PARK where we will have the opportunity to learn everything about the mythology, tradition, history and nature of Crete. Then we taste traditional recipes and enjoy a BBQ meal accompanied with lots of wine.
